Here at Calvary Baptist Tabernacle, our teaching is in accordance with the great fundamental truths of the Protestant Reformation - Scripture Alone, Faith Alone, Grace Alone, Christ Alone, and Glory to God Alone.
We believe that the Bible is the only rule for our faith. It is our obligation as a church to teach all that the Bible teaches, and to teach nothing else. God's Word must stand far above any words written of men.
Within the evangelical community, there are differing views of what the Scriptures teach. So there is no confusion as to our position of Scripture Alone, we have adopted the 1689 Baptist Confession of Faith to further clarify what we as a church believe. This is not, in anyway, an addition to Scripture; we believe it is the best summary of doctrines that make us distinctly Baptist. It is in no way an attempt to bind one's conscience. That is the work of God alone through the work of the Holy Spirit.
